After two years working closely together and two special nights with us at Sub_Urban Sundays over the last seasons, Yamil finally lands on Sub_Urban Music with a club-focused release featuring two very clear sides: “Tempestad” and “Loneliness”.
The EP arrives at a great moment for the artist, following recent releases on Magnifik (alongside Da Mike) and on We’re Here, Pablo Fierro’s label, with support from names such as Keinemusik and Black Coffee. Just a few days after release, “Tempestad” has already reached the Beatport Top 40 Afro House chart, confirming the EP’s immediate impact.
The release includes two tracks. On one side, “Tempestad”: as its name suggests, a cold track designed to dominate peak-time hours. Continuous drums and aggressive synths bring energy from start to finish, while warm Spanish vocals add the perfect contrast, guiding the journey between intensity and calm.
On the other side, “Loneliness” takes the opposite route: deeper and more vocal. Major chords bring a nostalgic feel a sensitive, emotional cut made to connect with people in the early hours. A deep, melodic track with a groove that truly pulls you in.
Available worldwide on all digital stores from January 9.
