This series showcases the cutting edge of Afro House and Deep Melodic:
Guri & Eider – Afro and Melodic House DJ Set (At Home) – Chapter 10
The tenth episode of the series is an intimate gem featuring Guri & Eider, an artistic and real-life couple who decided to share their most personal space: a DJ set recorded in their own home.
In this Afro and Melodic House session, Eider also reveals her side as a DJ. The set includes several of their own tracks, such as the edit of “Push” and their recent release “Looking Back”, published through Sub_Urban Music. Other highlights include “The One I Want” and “That’s My Game”, the latter heavily supported by artists such as Adam Port (Keinemusik) and Antdot, among others.
As a peak moment, the Dreams Vocal Edit of “Amana” (original by Maz) stands out, reinterpreted by the duo with their signature vocal and atmospheric touch. Most of the tracks in this set — especially those produced by Guri & Eider — belong to the Sub_Urban Music catalog.
Sebas Ramis – Deep House & Afro Melodic DJ Set (Live from Sub_Urban Office) – Chapter 11
The founder of Sub_Urban Music, Sebas Ramis, takes the lead in the second chapter with a session that masterfully blends Deep House and Afro Melodic.
This episode was recorded at the label’s office in Mallorca and served as the presentation for the new setup of the De Noche y Sin Filtros podcast. In this recording, Sebas Ramis selects ten tracks that reflect both the evolution of his sound and the label’s DNA. Notable among them is his remix for Artone & C-Mo’s “Handle That”, released on Puro Music, our sublabel linked to Purobeach. This particular release marks the connection between Sub_Urban’s musical direction and the Mediterranean spirit.
The session explores various shades of Afro and Deep Melodic, featuring artists close to the label such as Moeaike, with his track “Wela Bo” (one of the summer hits among Italian DJs), and Samm, contributing his remix of “ILanga”, among others.
Sebas Ramis – Afro House & Deep Melodic DJ Set at Xhaman Beach Club – Chapter 12
The third and final chapter of this update brings us back to Sebas Ramis, this time with a session recorded during the opening of the new Xhaman Beach Club in Playa de Palma. This video perfectly captures the summery and elegant atmosphere of the Mallorcan coastline.
The one-hour session, built around 10 tracks, flows between Afro House and Deep Melodic. You can see Sebas playing with his back to the pool while guests enjoy their first drinks and the signature sound of Sub_Urban Music under the radiant sun.
Musically, this precise blend of sophistication and energy features artists and producers close to the label, such as Ajna B and Yamil, along with established genre figures including MoBlack, Emmanuel Jal, Sébastien Léger, and Makebo, among others. This session reflects the link between Mallorca’s local scene and the global forefront of electronic music that Sub_Urban has championed since its Balearic roots.
